Third Eye Gypsy

Genea has been creative all her life, dabbling in many different mediums such as: painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed-media, fibers, metal smithing, printmaking and jewelry designing before falling madly in love with glass in December of 2002.  She took a local lampwork class and has been smitten by glass ever since. She began selling her beads at a local bead store where she worked and expanded to online sales. In 2016 she re-branded Genea Beads as Third Eye Gypsy since the evolution in her life and art needed a name that was as expanded as her new consciousness. She loves pushing the limits of her medium and exploring all the possibilities glass has to offer. Genea enjoys creating texture and color on the surface of her work using: baking soda, silver leaf, glass frit, lampwork canes, and texture tools. Genea creates: dread beads, and music festival jewelry using her lamp work beads and other artists art beads to create unique wearable art. When Genea is not melting glass she enjoys: traveling to music festivals, burning man events, hula hooping, being in nature, and enjoying time with friends.
